ALC Window Display at Barney's

Dexter has been enjoying some serious attention from the luxury department stores of Barney's and Lord and Taylor. Apparently, the Barney's displays infuriated and offended shoppers so much that they had to pull them- unfortunately, as I personally think that these are some of the most witty and interesting window displays I've ever seen. Lord and Taylor took a decidedly less morbid, although still dark, approach. They currently are running both ads and window displays inspired by the serial killer show. Maybe it's the goth teenager in me, but I've always loved watching crime shows, reading both fiction and non-fiction crime books, and generally anything to do with creepy crimes and serial murderers. These displays and ads are tongue in cheek and are actually interesting to look at. People who take them too seriously need to lighten up- it's not like you can't turn on the TV and see worse.
